Therabreath - Are They Worth It?

Therabreath Coupon Codes

This is a review of the Therabreath product line. I have personally used them and find them to be quite good.

The premise of the products is their potent oxygenated compounds. Oxygenated compounds have the power to eliminate the bacteria that cause bad breath, gum disease and other problems.

Many of the therabreath products come in various forms such as mouthwash, gum and toothpaste. I’ve used the Perio-Therapy mouthwash and toothpastes as well as the AktivOxigen Serum. Specifically, I like to put the AktivOxigen drops into my hydrofloss (an oral irrigator) before irrigating my teeth and gums.

This practice seems to have been very beneficial. This is, of course, a subjective observation, but still real to me.

There are multiple ways to utilize the therabreath products. Doctor Katz has researched bad breath and even has demonstrated on stage the power of his oxygenated mouthwashes. For example, he bit into an onion and tested his breath using a halimeter ( a device for dtermining the level of bad breath you have). This of course, prompted a very high reading on the halimeter.

Upon using his mouthwash on himself, he showed how the reading on the halimeter was drastically reduced when he retested his own breath.

You see, when it comes to bad breath, the bacteria that cause us problems do so because they release ‘volatile sulfur compounds’. These sulfur containing chemicals are the cause of our bad breath. Reduce them or eliminate them and you may be able to kiss bad breath goodbye.

When it comes to gum disease or gingivitis, the problem is the anaerobic bacteria that secrete toxins onto and around our gums. When these bacteria are exposed to oxygen, they tend to die or stop reproducing. Either way is a win for you.

Gum Disease Treatment - What You Should Really Know

book[1]A gum disease treatment is something that your doctor will do in-office. It may involve minor surgery, the use of lasers or in-office ‘deep cleanings’. However, these in-office treatments by themselves - may not provide the results your are looking for or the problem may recur later.

This is because there is a critical component to gum disease treatments that you should be aware of. Namely, you need to take care of your gums at home. This requires knowledge and daily work. Failure in this area will limit the success of your doctor’s in-office treatment.

You can ask your doctor or any dental professional. The key to improved gum tissue health revolves more fully around what you do at home. Without this work at home on your part, it is very possible that more expensive and possibly painful (during the recovery) treatments will be on the horizon.

The good news is that most people can improve their gum health at home and even avoid expensive treatments through good oral care maintenance at home. The bad news is that like an ostrich with its head buried in the sand, your unprotected end is exposed to whatever may happen next.

Unfortunately, even your doctor and other professionals in the office may not tell you what you can do at home, beyond basic brushing and flossing, to improve your gum health. Some do, but many do not.

This creates a puzzle for patients that many are not even aware of. This puzzle must be solved. Having the right tools and right understanding about combating gum disease is crucial to your success.

At the bottom of this article, you will find links that can greatly enhance the quality of your life and oral health.

nontheless they are getting better with some of your tricks. i just tried the Listerine cut way down. i cannot wait to try the Hydro Floss.

the scope of your knowledge is so impressive. i can’t thank you enough.

My very best,

Gum Disease Information Praise

October 16th, 2008

This was an unsolicited email that I received. I really think virtually everyone could benefit from my book on gum disease.

Hi David,

I read your literature, took your advice and had the BEST dental checkup today in years! There was some pain during the cleaning but nothing like it had been. I could tolerate the whole process much better.

The dental hygienist was very impressed with my home care. My gums weren’t inflamed like they had been. Usually when the hygienist checked the pocket depths, it felt like she was shoving straight pins into my gums. There were just a few areas where I still got that sensation.

I can’t say that my gums are growing back but at least they appear to be maintaining. I have always been vigilant about my home care and had used proxabrushes for years with poor results.

My new routine includes the Hydro Floss, Ora MD and Dr Katz Thera Breath mouth rinse. The Hydro Floss is a joy to use compared to the proxabrushes. I think the Ora MD really helps to reduce the sensitivity and pain when an area flares up. Dr Katz Thera Breath is very mild and nonirritating. The dental hygienist told me that there is no proof that oral irrigators work but that she has seen good results in some of her patients. I am personally convinced that they work. I don’t need anymore proof than what I have personally experienced. I really am grateful for your information. I was initially skeptical but am a true believer now. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Sharlene

Xylitol - The Sweet Truth

October 14th, 2008

Xylitol is an excellent 5 carbon sugar. The bacteria in your mouth cannot feed on it.

Therefore, it does not contribute to the development of cavities or gum disease.

It also creates a protective effect over time with continued use.

Diabetics need not fear xylitol, it will not interfere with your insulin levels. It uses an alternate metabolic pathway to provide energy to your body.

But beware, not all xylitol products are considered equal. NO!
Some manufacturers put a tiny and virtually useless amount of xylitol in their products in order to claim the good publicity that xylitol is enjoying.

See which Xylitol Products I find to be worthwhile.

1. In the United States

2. In Europe

3. In Canada

Caution: Animals, especially dogs, should not be given xylitol. While it is perfectly safe for human consumption, some animals cannot tolerate it.

Galley Copies All Out There

August 28th, 2008

There has been a delay since my last update due to the need to move this site to a new server.

The galley copies are out there. And I have been receiving good feedback.

A VP for a company is talking about possibly bundling the book with their own products. They also may sell the book stand alone if I understand correctly.

Others have told me the book is very good. That is very encouraging.

Enjoy the book. If you think it is good, tell others. This is information that I believe most people need to know.

Print Version Update

July 26th, 2008

Yesterday, I received a notice that I would soon have a prepublished version of the book in my hands. This will be what is called a galley copy. It has the word ‘galley’ written on the cover and watermarked on each page.

The plan currently is to send the galley copies out for endorsement purposes. We are estimating about 4 to 5 weeks for this process to be completed.

After that the full production version will be created and put into distribution. I’ve heard varying estimates as to how long that may take. I’ve heard 6 weeks and I’ve also heard 2 weeks.

So the print version of this book is probably 8 weeks away.  (The digital version is available now.)

That means the process of getting the book into publication is well over 1 year between writing, planning, rewriting and overcoming obstacles and road blocks on the path to getting this book available to the public on sites like Amazon and Barnes & Nobles, along with this one.

Stay tuned.  You can
